GET TO KNOW ME

I am a graduate of Virginia Tech and a longtime resident of the Town of Blacksburg. I am a Vietnam veteran and have spent my entire career in the real estate business dealing with civil and environmental engineering issues. I started a small civil/environmental firm in Blacksburg during a period of great growth in the town and have watched the firm, the town, and the University blossom.

I've also been a developer, real estate owner, and buyer and seller of real estate in Blacksburg. I have bought and sold several homes in the town and have actually been the developer of subdivisions and commercial establishments during my career.

I've served on the Virginia Tech University Alumni Board, the Advisory Board of Civil Engineering,  and the Advisory Board for the College of Engineering.  I've also served on the Blacksburg Planning Commission, serve on numerous town committees, and am a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia State Chamber of Commerce.  I'm on the Board of the Mountain Lake Lodge and the Blacksburg Historic Foundation.

I voluntarily stepped aside from my position as president and CEO of Draper Aden Associates several years ago but yearned to remain a part of the business and real estate community. It is for this reason that I have become a licensed agent for the most dynamic real estate firm in the New River Valley, Coldwell Banker Townside.

I love to help first time home buyers, people searching for the right place to meet their needs and call home.  I also help people find investment properties, land development projects, and commercial real estate opportunities.
