Radford: Where to Eat in Phase 3

This post continues the thread from earlier of where to eat in Blacksburg and Christiansburg.

If you aren't following BHP on Facebook, you're missing out on some serious cheese action scrolling through your feed. Follow them on FB to see their rotating beer list as well. Whether you're a hop head looking for an IPA or go for something darker, their list has a variety sure to please.

One thing about BHP - it is in the location of the old Pizza House joint and to pay homage to their roots, they offer some Pizza House favorites. Those are NOT the same ingredients as the brick fired pizzas of BHP, but if you're in the mood for hangover pizza, the oldies might be just what you want.

They're open on 311 W Main Street, Radford for curbside service only Tuesday 4-8P, W/Th 12-8P, F 12-10P, Sa 10-10P, closed S/M. Call (540) 639-5793 or visit their website to place an order ahead of time

If you're looking for authentic pub food served with a genuine smile, BTs is your go-to place. Personally I go for the chicken salad sandwich, which is fantastic, but the non-greasy waftos (waffle fries) are the real star of the show.

Their menu also includes healthy options, like fantastic salads and light sandwich options. Either way, you can enjoy the food on the patio, which is now nonsmoking. Grab reservations. They're offered in 2 hour blocks, so you have plenty of time to enjoy your food.

If you're looking to feed a crowd, check out their family platters. They feed 4 for $35 and they offer a variety of options including BBQ, spaghetti, and chicken tenders.

They're open at 218 Tyler Avenue, Radford for dine in and carry out. Visit their website to order online or call (540) 639-1282 to make a patio reservation. Follow them on Facebook for specials

Currently reopen with seating at half capacity. Can't score one of those coveted seats? No worries, their take out game is on point.
They're known for their New York style pizza, which is fantastic, but their desserts are the thing that I'm always excited for. I recommend the cannoli, but the tiramisu is a close second.

Follow them on Facebook for drool-worthy pics and daily specials. They're open Mondays: 10:30-8:00, Tuesdays: CLOSED, Wednesdays: 10:30-8:00, Thursdays: 11:00-8:30, Fridays: 11:00-9:00, Saturdays: 11:00 - 9:00, and Sundays: 11:30 - 8:30. Call (540) 639-9669 to place a to go order.

The donuts are phenomenal, but the menu also includes bagel sandwiches, brunch staples like biscuits and gravy, and quiche. There later in the day and not feeling breakfast foods? Definitely give their signature fried pickle hamburger a shot. Follow them on Facebook for special menu items and donut giveaways.

They're closed Sundays and Mondays, open 8:00-3:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 8:00-8:00 Fridays and Saturdays.

This gas station diner is a staple of the Radford community with authentic Thai food and a rotating menu that uses fresh ingredients. Follow them on Facebook so you can see where their truck will be parked for dining options in other towns.

They're currently offering takeout only, with call ahead or just drive up and order. If you're looking for spicy (and healthy), they are your answer.

They're located at 1401 Tyler Ave, Radford, VA. Order online via the "Shop Now" button on their Facebook page, call (540) 838-2329 or just walk up to place your order and get take out from the patio - no need to go inside.

One of my favorite places for lunch, they offer comfort foods and baked goods to go. You can also call ahead to reserve grocery staples like butter, eggs, TP, and Angus ground chuck. Follow them on Facebook to see the by-the-slice dessert of the day.

They're located at 103 Third Avenue, Radford and there's plenty of parking in the public lot across the street. Food is available for takeout and socially distanced dine in. They're closed Mondays and Tuesdays but are open from 11:00am until dinner other days. Call (540) 731-4880 to place a to go order.
